It was with the 8.0.1 patch mate, United's and Chelsea's finances were destroyed by overspending in the early years. United didn't win the Premiership at all on this game, but Chelsea picked up and impressive 7 Premiership titles in 9 years.

Going into the last game of the season when it was Newcastle vs Man U for the title, one of the possible outcomes was going to a premiership play off.

They even had all the tickets printed beforehand just in case.

One of these eventually unused tickets is on display at the Newcastle United museum, which is an excellent way of passing an hour or two if you happen to be passing St. James' and it's ****ing it down with rain.
