i installed the game and when i start it up it says the system does not meet minimum reqiurments....my pc is fairly new, well above the min. requirments.... the only thing i can think of is the monitor resolution being a little small, although i have neva had problems with other version of football manager! is there a fix?

You need to state your specs and compare them. You can have fm in window mode.

Could be your graphic card or the drivers need updated bit without further info hard to tell.

no that wont do it as far as I know there is a different method for changing the screen resolution through the exe properties file.

You would need to check the forum and check the bug forum might be in there.

Hi. I'm having 2008 version installation issues. The minimum requirements state I must have Windows XP, 1.2Ghz processor, and 256MB RAM. I have Windows XP Professional, I have a 1.8Ghz AMD processor (previously it was only giving me half output, we have corrected that and still it won't work), and have 512MB RAM. My directX is version 9.0. I have more than the required hard drive space. If anyone has any suggestions would be greatly recieved, I've checked the troubleshooting forum thread and nothing appears to solve the issue

When you say you are having installation problems, do you mean it wont install corrctly?? The reason I ask is because system requirements should not affect being able to install the game. Installing simply loads it onto the hard drive. The only requirement that would be needed would be to have enough hard drive space free.

Of course I may be completely wrong on this yet I have never had a problem, installing the game, running, that is a different story.

Are you getting any specific error message or anything? What is happeneing that tells you that you are having install issues?

Again, Im just guessing and could be wrong, wouldnt be the first time

Apologies, I'll be clearer! The game appears to install fine. However on attempting to run, I don't get any further than a message box indicating the minimum system requirements haven't been met

Hmmmmm, your really on the minimum requirements there to be honest, but only thing I cn think of right now is your graphics card?

What card you running and what resolution is your desktop currently at?
