?Had a game as QPR and got promoted now the boards long term goal was to become a force in the championship by end of a 4 year plan. I said I would challenge for league title to get more money. Now I am promoted if i say mid table finish to get the £16.5 million but I get relegated do you think I would be sacked?

Or if I only just avoided being relegated would I keep my job?

I know no one can answer for sure but just from your previous experiences what do you think would happen?

I am in game now if anyone can give me a quick answer please.

Any result rather than the boards expectations for your league position will result in the chances of you getting the sack being raised substantially.

If you get relegated, then probably yes.

I'd say if you got relegated it's a definite yes.

You have to be probably mid-table around Xmas and stay there for the second half of the season, otherwise they'll get a bit trigger happy.

8th down to a minimum 14th is probably realistic.

But with patch 8.0.2 you'll probably win the league on corners alone... :p

From experience I'd say dont go for mid table as I think you would get sacked yes.

Saying that though, its your game, if I was in same position on a different save game I may not. The beauty of it, every time is different to an extent. Think its safe to say to not get to ambitious though just in case.

i think you would get sacked, just because they gave you money and then you failed, id say go for avoid relegation, do it and youll become a hero dont and youll probly keep your job


btw have your long term goals now changed?

Thanks for the fast replys people very helpful. I decided to say aviod relegation so got £14.25 million instead of £16.25 and a wage budget of 245k instad of 275k.

Lets hope I can get some players in to save my skin Portsmouth, Sunderland and Derby got relegated have to try and get some of the Pompey lads in I think.
