i am conceeding 2-3 long distance shots almost every match since patching the game...

i continued with my old save game where i was in 4th position in the Bundesliga, now i patched it and lost 8 out of 10 since then...with rediculous scores like 5-4 or 4-3 and i havent changed my tactics at all...

anybody else with the same experience?

Yes me too.No player seems to score from inside the box anymore.It's always long ranged efforts.

As for the ridiculous amounts of goals I've experienced that too.

We've gone from one extreme in 8.0.1(couldn't score) to 8.0.2(6-8 goals a game).

There must be some balance in between the two patches.

thats exactly the point...in 8.0.1 it was ridiculous to score..almost impossible....and now i think SI wanted to do something good to us, but totally overtuned the thing

one positive thing is though that strikers try to dribble past goalkeepers again...

I have the same although I tend to be scoring them. So far, in 9 games I've scored 30 goals and conceded 9. Conceding one a game is okay I think, scoring that many is a tad unrealistic.

I don't think we'll ever see a 0-0 draw in this game again.

How have you managed that? I'd love a 0-0 draw, I'm fed up with scoring at least 4 a game

I'd love a 0-0 too. One and a half season in and I've yet to play one.

My system is a very cagey counter attacking one which relies on the pace of my forward four to create chances.

Occasionally though they struggle to get a break or the opposition refuse to attack me.

I don't seem to have a problem with either patch with 8.01 I score with no problem. And with 8.02 I can still get 0-0 draws

I just lost 3-2 against Getafe, drew 0-0 with Rosenborg, and beat Rosenborg 2-0... not exactly a goal glut. And I've noticed strikers scoring far more from inside the area, more direct free kicks being scored, and more goals from corners. Less chances are created and more are taken. It's looking good!
