It's an external tool used for the power of evil so you can cheat.

You can view players CA and PA, and seek out the best players/regens without having the challenge/fun of scouting in game and getting that warm feeling when you find a gem of a player for yourself.

It has it's uses when you are trying to understand how certain parts of the game work - but it ruins any actual games you are playing for fun.

As far as I know it isn't available for FM08 anyway - but I might be wrong.

It also tells you the price teams are prepared to sell players for, which cuts down the frustration of trying to sign a £1million player when the team wants £10 million.

Some players look down on us 'scouter's' but if we enjoy playing with it what's the problem?

The selling price is the most valuable thing - really can't be bothered with the 'his value is £1 million but really they want £5 million' and it takes about 10 negotiations before you get anywhere near an agreement.

Also i'm afraid the 'challenge/fun' of scouting is pretty pointless - for me anyway - as my so-called scouts seem to have no more idea of a good prospect than the bloke in the burger van outside the ground!

Why the hell have most of them got their job is my question
