Hi, I know there is already a thread for this, but I just can't add my pic.
I've done the pic ok (95 x 95), but my problem is in the config file.
I have to write <record>=from "my name" ECT....
But even after making the config file writable, I haven't got a clue how to write this in, it wont even let me click anywhere on the page.
so how can i write mine in?

you need to use notepad if you don't have a dedicated xml editor. From "file", choose "edit with xml editor", then notepad should come up. Make sure you have unticked the "read only" box in properties.

As promised, you can now add your own manager pictures for yourselves a lot easier...

Simply enter this into a config file where your picture is stored

<record from="my picture" to="graphics/pictures/person/craig hunter 9-4/portrait"/>

The my picture part will be a file named my picture.png in the same directory as your config file and the craig hunter 9-4 part will be your name and day-month of birth.

Just get a photo of yourself and I think you can have it sized 95x95

Then insert that photo into the following directory data/graphics/pictures/person/

and then do the above in the previous Msg posted by myself

And to ake it easier to understand here it is again

-- Go to data/graphics/pictures/players/regens and put your picture in there
-- Open config.xml that is already in that directory (make sure to make it writable first; right click, properties, uncheck read only)
-- There should be lots of lines of code in there. Simply add one for yourself in there using your name and day-month of birth.

If you are still lost, then you name the line like this. If your name is Frodo Baggins and your date of birth is the 16th June 1979 and the picture of yourself is called me.jpg then you would add the following like to the config file after one of the current entries...

<record from="me" to="graphics/pictures/person/frodo baggins 16-6/portrait"/>

now if u have done this you may have to reload up fm2005 and your saved game, if you still can not see your manager photo then just change the skin you are using for that saved game, it should be on tehre with 1 of the skins you have got.

I had to resort back to teh skysports skin to see my manager profile picture, now it works with all skins thank god for that
