I've downloaded a skin and folllowed the instructions as to which folder to put it in. I'm now on FM2005 and have gone into my preferences, and chosen the skin I downloaded but now my screen says

"loading image data for the new skin.....please wait"

I'm just wondering how long I should expect to wait as its been like that for a while now.

If it does load within a few seconds then you have a problem. Dunno exactly what it is but though. Out of interest what skin did you download as some you need to move fonts around to get them to work.

Its the england skin downloaded from fm base. I couldn't find any instructions with it, but have copied the font files and put them under fonts but it still hasn't worked. The england skin is saved under the skin section alongside the one you are automatically given with the game. Have I put it in the wrong placec maybe?

I'm also playing an unpatched game if that makes any difference.
