Apologies Yoggy, the thing is this question has been asked time and again by numerous people and answered fully by many board users over and over.

Its just a bit disheartening nobody seems to have a little poke around the forum first before asking FAQs. I know the search engine is a bag o'***** but I'll bet you this question has been answered a few times on the first page or two.

Save pics as jpegs sized 1024x768, pics named liverpool/manutd/valencia or whatever

Put the pics in a folder eg premiership or spain as applicable

Put the folder in my documents/sports interactive/football manager 2007/graphics/backgrounds

You may need to create a folder called backgrounds.

You'll then need to make a config file for each folder, I think there is a tool on sortitout that makes it easier than a method I used. From the editor you'll need stadium ids for each team to make the pics show on matchday and team ids to make the pics show on team screens.

In the display and sound preferences make sure you have:

"background pictures" ticked
"always reload skin on confirm" ticked
"use skin cache" unticked

The backgrounds should them appear when you load your game up.

and apologise 4 the outburst lol yeah the search is pretty chabby and does this work 4 player backgrounds as well? put there special ID? and i have the graphics configurator is that it???

Yeah I think this is what most people use:

Personally, I just edited a config from someone elses background pack and changed the team names and ids to the ones I wanted. That worked ok. As for player backgrounds a typical line in the config is:

<record from="carragher" to="graphics/pictures/person/2003693/background"/>

So I'd imagine you'd have to search each team in the editor for individual players ID number.
