Dan Atkinson Junior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Posts: 9 Rep Power: 0	FM 2005 .dat file format Yes, it's a .dat file format. Putting it simply, they contain data for the db. You have no hope of really cracking it in Notepad so unless you have some skill with things like a hex editor. There are threads relating to the pregame data format scattered around here. I suggest you have a bit of a look around.
