Sorry, my short-term memory renders "a couple of months" as anything from last week to a year ago...

However, it was before they got their major shareholding; when the media were in uproar about the potential effect it would have on United's finances we started discussing it. I'll try and find the thread. If I do, I'll post a link.

yeh that post is quite interesting, the only problem with this whole thing is that no-one knows for sure what the financial situation is (and could be in the future). I just want to get a good balance in the game so if you're Man Utd manager you're gonna have to start being VERY careful what you spend. After reading that thread i think maybe the debt should be set at around £560m, over 25 years.

okie..i read somewhere that the exact debt transferred over isn't that much...not around 560m.. but perhaps alot lesser than it is...

I tried to inplant £ 650 million to the United with the editor. But when i started with United on a new save so was the debt gone in the finance..um..

i dun understand what u mean..but i suppose for the debt effect to take place after editing..u need to start a new game..
