Okay, when people move clubs around you are also changing their nationality. I found a way of changing the nationality back to the original nationality so it acts like a club of that league.
I just moved celtic and rangers to premiership while retaining their scottish nationality.
I would like to put this update on the web for people. Another thing is, I was thinking that this would be a good idea for a euro league... so how would I contact the guy who made the ilegaue so he can implement it into his game, as currently all clubs are english, therefore act english (employ english people etc.)
It would would in the league and also in the world club cups for him.
It was just a thought. So if someone can host my update (37 mb.. unless you can compress it better) or show me the way to telling the ilegaue guy so he can make it much better!
and proof it works:- http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...1987/r-eng.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...7/r-league.jpg
Many thanks.

| Very simple....
I noticed that the nationality that it is depends on the last "move it made". So by giving it a B team (using add team) and then swapping that with a team from their homeland (in this case celtic & rangers reserves with the two english clubs in scotland) and as the last thing was the club moving to scotland, it becomes scottish, so therefore as long as that league is not selected, you can play in england but almost guarenteed euro football as a scottish entrant. This can be followed for any country.

I tried it last night with a world superleague and there's a slight problem - the teams don't have a reserve and/or youth team except teams like Barcelona (Barcelona B and C) so they don't play in the youth league. I don't know if they still play in their own countrys youth league since I only used one country.

| Thats one thing I noticed. Since they have their own nationality... their reserve teams and youth teams have "blank fixtures." Maybe as everyone else has blank fixtures... you could set up friendlies.
I was going to make a world superleague... taking the fa cup to become world club cup or something & as my way leaves euro qualifers as they are, its great as it can still be euro comps.... so the great competition is still there, all of them... I will test it later, shouldn't take that long to make....
when you dont select a team they "play games" without fixtures... maybe its the same concept here, time for a test i guess.

I was using a super league and did this trick and I put the reserve clubs in the top league of the country they come from, surely that will generate league matches for them? |

just did another test on my "trick"
It appears a little "off". For some reason the computer is not moving matches, so 2 or more matches (even skipped matches...) are been played on 1 day. Anyone got any suggestions?

I tried it, I was trying to replace one league with another. I swapped all the teams, made 'add team' to all of the clubs, did a lot of swapping and checking everything so that all the clubs would have the right nationality. Saved it, and wished for the best. But when I was creating the game, it just crashed, said nothing, just exited the game with no error messages or anything.
Any thoughts why?
and thanks for the idea anyway! i guess some things are just not meant to happen |

Now I've done the all replacing thing, taking the Austrian league, and replacing it with all the clubs from Estonia. Attached them to U18's teams that i've created to each club from Estonia. Got the European spots filled correctly. But what i can't figure out is why in the Cup competititon i have teams from both nations MIXED. Meaning, the clubs from Austria (which league i replaced) are in the cup competitions along with clubs from Estonia (the "new league", the one i created using Stevenhp1987's suggestions). Is it some kind of a bug? I also have Austrian referess whistling Estonian league matches, why is that and can i fix it somehow?

| One thing.... there may be some teams under the leagues that qualify for the cup. See if there is leagues for that nation not playable and put some estonian teams in there.
Im going to be using this idea for a world super league.
I dont think there is anything you can do with the referees? Not that it takes anything away from the game anyway, (I never look at them anyway, lol)
