Simply reinstall the game again and edit Ronaldinho's position back to its rightful place!

You might not even need to reinstall the game, just repair it that usually works iirc

Go to your control panel, then add and remove programmes, highlight FM then click the change button you can see next to remove. Then it will bring the installshield back up and there is an option to modify, repair or uninstall. Choose the repair one and it puts all the orignal back iirc

Right... Well I'll put it this way...
It's either lose all of your data and try again or try to start a new game and furrow your eyebrow trying to understand the situation when your game goes tits up for the tenth time in an hour.
Personally, I'd scrap the db (which clearly isn't working) and just use your backup.
