2) u can change a country's co-efficients in the editor but this will not affect their european allocations/seedings in the first season of the game as all european places are pre-coded.

Hm. So, essentially, there is no difference apparent even if I do change the UEFA coeffiecents ?

It is my understanding that Dave is correct. I've never tried to change the co-efficients before so I wouldn't know but to avoid early continuity problems, I think that the berths for each country is hard-coded at the beginning of the first game season.

changing co-efficients will affect the game but not in the first season, it will affect european allocations and seedings going into the second season.
