im sorry to moan,i luv fm games 05,06, even though they were tough at times there i cud always make a tactic that worked,1 month into this game the inconsistency level is to great. no matter wot team i am wot tactic i develop ,the ai kills it, its not realistic i want to go back to 06 but i cant stop trying i want leeds back in the big time but there crap
has anyone found a basic tactic i cud try to develop

while this post is obviously gonna get locked pretty quick for how moany it is i'm gonna post anyway.

I'm playing as leeds too, and although initially i've been doing really rather badly, with a flat 442, i think i've finally cracked it. I now use 3 or 4 variations on one formation and i think this is the way to go, you can just use one tactic against everyone and expect it to work. Sometimes i need to change things 4 or 5 times a game to get it right or when things change.


Read through the theories and frameworks thread and you've get a better understanding.

I agree with the both of you, but more so with Johnny. The game would be boring if you took it out of the packet and won every game straightaway. Yes Leeds deserve to be back in the big league, but the team irl is matching the team on the game (or is that vice versa?). Half the fun is seeing how long I can stay as manager of Leeds - in 5 games I havent made it to Christmas yet - but the fun and challenge of trying to improve each time makes it all worthwhile!!

The game ain't ****, you are ****. There's nothing (majorly) wrong with the game and if you could do well on FM05 and FM06 it shouldn't take long until you get into FM07 as well. The game hasn't even been out that long so give it time. As for Leeds, their squad isn't as good as in the last game so you need to be quite shrewd in the transfer market.

I don't know. Bulgaria and Romania just entered the EU right? Maybe they dno't know a lot about football and just picked Tottenham at random
