I'm playing as Carlisle United in the English League 1.
12 games into the season, i'm sitting 14th in the league table, doing well considering i'm one of the favourites for relegation.
I've played 12 games, won 2, lost 2, and drawn 8, scoring a total of 10 goals and conceding 9.
My goalscoring record is one of the worst in the league, whilst my defensive record is on of the best in the league.
I play a weird formation, of 4-1-2-2-1.
To make this a bit clearer, I have 4 defenders, 1 defensive midfielder, 2 central midfielders, 2 attacking wingers, and a lone-striker.
I seem to be creating many chances, but my striker fails to stick them away, scoring only 2 goals so far this season.
My striker Karl Hawley has a current ability of approx 110, however I've been unable to sign a replacement, on loan or for a fee, especially due to the 110k transfer budget.
Does anybody have any suggestions as to who I should buy, or what I should do to alter my formation.
The 2 centre mids I play, 1 is a strong midfielder, whilst the other is more attack minded.
Should I push my attack minded midfielder into a more attacking role playing a (if you can picture it) 4-1-1-3-1, or do I stick him as an extra striker, playing a 4-1-1-2-2?
