Right the tactic is based heavily on wwfans 5x5 tactic whereby the defenders and dmc are all on a low mentality and the rest of the team are on a high mentality.
In both the home and away tactic the midfielders and strikers are all on high closing down with the aim of regaining posession as high up the pitch as possible. The defenders are all on lowish closing down but in inorder to stop big gaps appearring between defence and midfield I have put the defensive line up to one notch before 'push up'
The result seems to be a high pressure pressing game in which the midfield is very destrcutive infornt of a highly disclipined defence.
I found that the key position is the DMC, i always play someone with good areial ability as he is a crucial screen in front of the defence and can blunt many opposition attacks by simply winning the first ball.
The main difference between the home and away tactics is the width, time wasting and tempo and the overall team mentality.
I dont know what the common consensus is on here about team mentality but i have found cranking it up a notch or 4 even tho all your players have there own mentality makes a big difference.
I have labelled the tactics home and away but i guess it would be better labelled as teams against whom you think you should win and those whom may give you a tougher game. Either tactic can be used home or away it really depends on the quality of your opponent.
