Ok so i may be being a little stupid but in previous FM's I've gone to my name and then options and the option to make the assistant manager in charge of training has been there but this time its not there! how do i put my assistant manager in charge of training?!

Does it make a big difference if you just leave it as it is at the start?

Your Assistant is set to take the training as default. If you want your players attributes to improve then you will have to look at training although the default system is adequate. You would also be advised to check out the quality of your coaches and how they are assigned.
