I am constantly get 20 shots at goal per game but they not converting to goal. Anyone know why?

Lol, thats better than telling your team to all out attack and have them take no shots in a single game.

What´s your team? What formation you play and how many strikers you have on team?

Then, can you write the following forwaders attributes? Just want to know composure and finishing, for those who play up front.

After that, maybe increase training regime on that specific attributes.

How many of those shots are you getting on target?

If not many you might want to slow the tempo down as your strikers might be rushing.

All those shots could also be long shots or are they good chances? If your tempo is slow and your chances are good then i would take a look at my strikers and my training.

I've the same problem, and I really think it's down to the tempo I play. Using a the shortest passing possible and a high tempo (about 15), I'm constantly putting my forwards through on goal. But I also see them rushing all their shots, or doing first time shots while they could take some more time, or even run at the goalie one-on-one.

Right now, I'm going to try and see if lowering my tempo will improve the changes-to-goals ratio, or that something else is wrong.

Of course, this is all with world class strikers (still need to get to know this game), so most shots were on target, but still saved by the keeper. It's great to see your forward play ping-pong with the goalie

its the game engine, ive played some of the best strikers in the world, on slow tempo, on fast tempo and the goal ratio is just flawed.

Sometimes you can have 20 shots on target and score 1 goal.

The amount of time ive seen strikers with 18+ finishing miss empty goals is incredible.

Im sick of seeing "ohh that was a sitter" "Unbelievable miss" and "even his manager has his head in his hands" about 5 or 6 times a game.

Even with this i won the premiership, simply by just having more weight of goals then the oppositon, generaly if u can limit the opposition to less then 10 chances in a game then they wont score.

Then its just getting as many shots as possible,

Its really starting to annoy me, the game is more realistic then before, but the goals ratio is wack, as is the defending my midfielders watching players run past them time after time.

yeah im the same! loads of shots but havent scored many goals! and quite a few open goal missed from top strikers

hopefully when they patch the game, they will

- fix the closing down.

- fix the scoring.

So that you end up with less chances, but when you get them they are converted more realisticaly.

Id rather see a scoreline of

2-0 with 12 shots (7 on target) against 5 shots (2 on target)

rather then the current

2-0 with 24 shots (16 on Target) against 14 shots (9 on target)

I mean seriously, keepers must be amazing in Fm2008, they save more then a dozen goals a game.

Also another thing with keepers is penalties, the save rate for penalties must be at least 70%.

In all the penalty shootouts i think ive seen Cech let in 2 penalties out of maybe 20 shot at him.

This game is 1 mass flaw scoring a goal is a miracle expecpt if your the AI. The amount of 1 on one that is missed is unbelievable. Im very disappointed with this series. Im gett 15 Shots 7 or so on target but still walking away from a game losing like 3-0 total crap.
