9 Goals isnt all that, but keep track of his ast... 10 ast is amazing for a striker. Basically what Torres in doing in theory is instead of taking that 50/50 chance he passes it thru to Kuyt, which makes it easier for him to score. Maybe if Torres didnt pass the ball those 10 times, he would probably score on 4 of those 10 passes if we were lucky. Bringing his tally up to 13 goals but no ast.

After 4 months of getting use to my tactics and concentrating on shooting and attacking in training, I can give you these stats for my strikers so far in my 2nd season for Liverpool:

Torres: 13 Games, 12 goals, 7 ast
Kuyt: 14 Games, 12 goals, 5 ast
Aguero: 10 games, 8 goals, 4 ast
Voronin: 9 games, 5 goals, 3ast

Rotation policy is in effect (just like Benitez IRL) and I have great results with partnering up Torres/Voronin and Kuyt/Aguero. This gives me a proper strikeforce and much better on average instead of comparing Torres/Aguero with Kuyt/Voronin.

Overall I play 4-4-2 with direct and quick passing. With Offside/Tight Marking/Counter Attack ticked on.

The ast my strikers are getting are mostly because of the other striker running into space. Or maybe a midfielder coming on a run but this is very rarely. Usually its Torres running with the ball and then passing it if Voronin is free. I think to get this to work properly its important to have strikers with decent pace and passing.

Rolando Bianchi did not do anything for me and just shoot as soon as he saw the football, and missed.

Put him on Passing short,
Putting up run with ball.
ANd through Balls to my fast striker.
And Take not to shoot Longshot, He still does but not as much.

Working good. Pasing short is the key i think, have on both Forwards.

I have the same challenge with Barca. I'm losing even if i have the double on target shots from the AI! I tried a lot of things (from this post too) but i cannot fix it. Valdes is crap but the opposite gk's are the best players on every game.I have Henry and Eto'o but they cannot score easily

I'm noticing much the same thing - my strikers are having real problems converting chances. It's not superkeepers though, most of the times my strikers either blaze wide or shoot straight at the 'keeper. OK, I'm playing as Southampton, so I've not got world class strikers, but 15ish for both finisheing and compsure should do much better.

Stragely enough, my midfielders are far far better at converting chances - though, unspurisingly, they get less chances in the first place, so their goals scored is lower.

tbh we need to make an Ai tactic, you get out played for 90 mins, cant string 2 passes together, cant cross cant tackle, but play like brazil for 2 attacks :eek:
