The Basque county is a part of Spain like Castilla(the most powerful part of the country),Andalucia,Catalunya,Galicia,Extremadura,M urcia,Valencia,Aragon,Navarra ,Cantabria,etc.


Some parts of Spain are screaming for independence like Basque County and Catalunya,other parts are staying put with Spain

that's why the Basque County acts like a independent state but Spain does not recognise Basque as a state(country),it recognises as a county

so Athletic has a zero tolerance for foreign players in the transfers

you should search players in basque teams like Sociedad(Sociedad accepts foreign players),Osasuna,and others

and a little tip: spend as much as possible in improving your training/YOUTH facilities, because in 3-4 years you gonna need replacements for Yeste and Exteberria and it can turn your game into a nightmare! And the other good basque club - Real Sociedad is your rival, so dont expect any gifts from them. As for Osasuna, at the beginning they a a higher reputation team and you must achieve euro places in order to attract their better players (most of which aren't even basques(sp?) )
