My board have just gone over my head and accepted a £10million bid for Pique (July, first season) from Arsenal. Those barstewards!

What is the lowest (most annoying) transfer where your board has gone over your head on?

First they accepted a 7M bid + 30% sell on for Denilson from Real Madrid. So he left even though I offered him a massive contract. And then a couple days later (same game btw), then accepted a 29M + 25% sell on for Fabregas from Milan!!

I restarted the game.

Last night playing as Villa the board accepted a bid of £3.4m for Gabriel Torje as apparently it was too good to refuse (he was valued at £2.3m).

I think it must have been because I was about £8m in the red having just bought Steven Taylor for £24m.

Lol. Well wont be a challenge really because I would have bought good enough players even if Cesc had left. Would have gone out and bought Kaka for about 40M so wouldnt have mattered. Thing was I just found it really unrealistic and silly that the board will accept bids for two of the best talents in my team and Cesc being a key player as well. Especially that low. Anyway, Cesc would have probably stayed on had I continued because I was on his favoured personnel list and I would have offered him all the money possible.

You think thats bad, my board accepted a £6.5m bid from AC Milan in the January of my first season. he is now worth £17m and first choice for the italian giants
