Board expectations: Title challenger by end of 2 year plan
Transfer Budget: £3-6.75m depending on expectations.
One thing that will hit you straight away is the low average wage at the club (as per the self-imposed wage cap IRL), which leads to players asking for pay rises after a few games.
Anyway, I predicted continental qualification through league finish, which awarded me with a £6m transfer budget and £350k per week to spend on wages.
Team Analysis:
The weakest part of the team is the Goalkeeping position - Balotta is too old, Degre undeveloped, the Uruguayan reserve not up to scratch, and Carrizo out on loan due to WP issues. The difficulty is signing a goalkeeper within budget from the EU, who is a significant improvement. I failed in my search, so handed Balotta the starting slot at the beginning of the season.
Defensively, there is a good mixture of youth and experience, but nobody who is world class as yet. Cribari and Siviglia are good to begin with, but Siviglia isn't getting any younger. Rozenhal is an error prone backup, and Diakate is definitely not ready. That leaves Stefan Radu, who is potentially as good as Chivu if you're lucky! I'm giving him the chance... Allessandro Tuia from thr U20's may also develop to a high level so don't let him go!
In the full-back positions, Zauri (C) is first choice at LB, with De Silvestri at RB and potentially world class. Behrami can cover adequately, whilst Kolarov is another excellent talent at LB.
Midfield is a balance of youth and experience, Behrami being the standout youngster on the right flank, with Mutarelli and Mudingayi competing for the defensive MC position, alongside Ledesma. Mauri is first choice on the left to begin with. The rest of the squad aren't worth touching
Up front, there is no depth beyond Rocchi and Pandev, but luckily these two are one of the best partnerships in Serie A. Again, it may be worth bringing in some cover here.

Currrently: 5th in the league, 7 points behind AC Milan with 8 games to go. I think I might have to settle for 5th, barring any miracles. Inter have already won the league...
The good news is I'm in the UEFA Cup quarter finals, and have £40m in the bank now (only £5m of which is remaining budget!). IMO my position is a fair reflection of my squad, definitely need 5-6 more quality players to challenge, but hopefully a good summer will change that.
Lazio is easily one of my favourite football teams, their fans are amongst the best in the world. I shall definitely be starting as them on the new patch (I started just before the new patch came out so I deleted the game) and take them back to the top! Also, good first post mate :thup:

Yes, so Bianchi, he's 3rd choice behind Pandev and Rocchi to start with, and you have the option to make his loan move from Man City permanent, for £8.75m.
He's not been great for me when he's played, which makes his loan even less memorable. Gets too many 6's. I'm planning on letting him return to city at the end of the season.
