Here's the deal, i started a new game with Liverpool because i was tired of buying the same players and eventually winning everything after a couple years, not much of a challenge. This time around however, i decieded to try to build a Liverpool game with only english players.
So far in the first season I'm in 3rd place with 3 points up to Man U after 12 games. I've bought Micah Richards, Nedum Onuoha, Billy Sharp and Michael Owen. That about did it for my budget.
Anyway, who would you suggest i buy? I have no problem letting any player go, so a Torres + money for Rooney wouldn't be a problem (if it's possible?)I'm looking into buying Lennon for my right mid, Joe Cole for left, but he doesn't seem to be interrested, even though he's not playing. I've got Crouch and Owen as strikers, so i'm alright there, and of course i have Gerrard and Carra for a couple years.
Who do you suggest i buy? And who would be the best english keeper for me to get? I have Carson out on loan, but in my other games he didn't turn out great, but should i gamble on him anyway? (Not much of a gamble as i already have him, but you know what i mean)
Get Micheal Johnson from Man City, Ashley Young from Villa (but he can turn out crap, he did for me but others say he is good) and Scott Sinlair from Chelsea or Andy Carrol from Newcastle

Not to be biased towards the team I use but Ashley cole, terry lampard and mancienne are better than most of the english players suggested here, although you would probably have difficulty getting all except mancienne if you caught him early.
