Just installed the latest patch a few days and aside from the annoying update meaning that my players stats have dropped dramatically, i havent found any problems. UNTIL this morning.

I play an hour or so (and stupidly do not save it) and i am 'continuing' away knowing i will be asked to pick my squad soon. However, i suddenly find myself at the team talk page with no players. The worst thing is i am playing arsenal in the biggest game of the season.

I cannot play the game as it says i have no goalkeeper selected and i cant pick a team. So with no other option i go on holiday for a day hoping fm will sort itself out and use my last team selection or something.

BUT NO. I return to find the scoreline 49-0 to arsenal of course. Now i have to load my game from over an hour ago and hope it doesnt happen again.

I have generally found this installment of FM less enjoyable than previous versions, however, i will stay faithful and have higher hopes for next year.

While this is annoying it is not caused by the latest patch and is in fact something that's occurred very rarely for a while now.

The best thing you could do would be to enter this into the bugs forum, trying to provide as much info as possible.

I imagine it would be hard to fix without someone uploading a save just before it happened.

There are thousands of people on the forums who play the game and I've only seen this mentioned a couple of times. So therefore it's very rare and most likely almost impossible for the internal test team to re-create.

Indeed, as chopper said, it would be hard for SI to fix the problem, also I've been playing 08 for months now and never encountered this problem, and believe me, I play it a lot .

No need to suffer quietly, just raise the problem in a constructive way in the bugs forum in the hope that with our help a bug that would most likely be impossible to re-create internally can be found more easily when tens of thousands of people are playing the game.

Unfortunately without a save from close to when it was happening it'll still be very difficult for the SI test team to locate and fix this.

Plus with all the other problems that people expect to be fixed this may be quite low on the priority list, considering how rare it is.

I understand it would be annoying if you were one of those rare people that it happened to.
