Hello.

Just finished 3rd season with Brighton now (2010) and have just purchased Lauri Dalla Valle, who amazingly stayed unattached all that time.

I have heard a lot of talk about him so wanted to check out how he was doing. At 18 (his age now) he looks.....ok. Not good enough to get in Brighton team though.

My question is would he be a lot better now at 18 if I had taken him on at the start of the game when he was 15, or will he still turn out brilliant by the age of 22+?

Anyone? I have bought Dalla Valle now if that clears things up.

I brought him to Leeds at the start of the game. He's a fine AMC and a decent MC in the Prem in 2012, but I play him mainly as a backup and cup player. As a freebie he's defo worth developing and loaning out plenty.

At lease he was on 8.0.1. Still looks okay on my saved game post-8.0.2.

Meant to say he's beind Van der Vaart and Cattermole as a backup rather than being rubbish.

I'm not sure if I've explained myself properly.

My question is:

Will Dalla Valle end up as good for me (I've bought him when he is 18(3 years into the game), and thus has missed out on 3 years of training with me) as he would for someone who bought him when he was 15?

Or will not develop as far as he would have if I had bought him at the start of the game?
