I find my game has the 'right' amount of goals per game scored my man city side normally only scapes 1-0 wins and the biggest win i have had in two seasons was 4-0 and that was against MK Dons

As I said in another thread my shots/goals ratio ok. The amount of goals per game ok.

It's really good to see a reply from SI themselves and it reassures me that they do take our comments on hand; not that I thought they ever ignored us. :cool:

Has there been a noticeable reduction since the 8.0.2 patch was introduced? Like I said I haven't actually played for a while.

I think I need to get down and play rather than letting past judgments put me off.

Need to give FM more chance because it's been my friend for too many years.

PaulC, from the stats you provided, almost every league has more than 2 goals, sometimes close to 3 goals per game.

Any chance you could find some stats from real life - this seems very high for me, but it does explain why, round after round in my games (note i havn't played 8.0.2 yet, almost every scorling is 2-2, 2-1, 3-0, 4-3 etc.

There are very few 0-0's or 1-0's

It's all rather similar which is why I'm personally happy with the stats from SI. I would like to know if there has been a reduction in goals from before the patch.

What is interesting is this chart which shows very few occurances of high scoring games. I was seeing many, many more examples of 3-3s and 3-2s when I last played FM.

However, like I said above, I need to give the game another go before I can really judge of course. It may be the efforts of SI with the latest patch that has changed things. Won't have much chance to spend long on the game till the weekend though
