Recently I downloaded someones match file where they were in 2027 and I have been looking at the history of my local club Solihull Moors. As you can see from this screenshot Solihull seem to have no consistency in the league they are in. Sometimes they play in Blue Square North and sometimes Blue Square South. I don't know if this is a bug or what and it doesnt really effect my playing of the game, just thought I would let you folks know.
To clarify the Solihull specific situation - they are in Birtmingham, which makes it pretty easy to place them in the North or South as they are in the middle of the country.
Every year when teams get promoted from the really low leagues and get relegated from the BSP they can be from anywhere up and down the country. So midlands clubs could be in the BSN one year then the BSS the next as they have to balance it out every year to have the 22 most notherly clubs and the 22 southern clubs. Hope that makes sense.
I thought it would be something like that but if you look at the 2020/21 season they finished mid-table in the league and then still ended up in the other league the following season. Would this happen irl?
I just thought that they would have decided upon one league for them to always compete for.
Solihull Moors has only existed since 2007, they used to be Moor Green FC and Solihull Borough FC. Moor played in the Northern league and Solihull in the Southern league. So i guess no one can make up their mind exactly where they should be playing.
