I'd say it gets better for young players. Aguero used to be ignored all the time in 8.0.1, not even U21 called him up. In this 8.0.2 he gets to play at least U21 and sometimes the main squad. Similar thing for Anderson, Dunga starts to play him more often; while in the previous patch, he'd sit at home next to Scholes when it's international matches.

I'm seeing some very strange international call-ups in my game, but I have added a new club (Faroese) into the Scottish league Division 3 so it isn't the official database.

Generally I will get ~30 players called up from my squad to the Faroese U19s, U21s and full squad, most in the first two.

Recently though I have had generally 6 players called into the full squad which generally includes a couple of my club's U19s (16 or 17 year olds) who have never kicked a ball for my first team, despite the fact I have Faroese players in those same positions playing week in week out (and some very well) for my first team. Worst of all was the call-up of one of my 16 year old goalkeepers who actually played twice for the full Faroese squad without having ever played for my club side - I have 3 Faroese 'keepers in my first team squad!
