Default Same game save, two computers?

So, I'm about to travel, and want to take my save game on my laptop with me...do I need to make sure that I have the same exact DB that I started the game with on my laptop, or do I only need my game save, and the same patch...in this case. 8.0.2?

You'll need both PC's running the same game version

In terms of the db it wont need to be on both. Assuming you have the latest database on the pc you wish to generate and start you first game from then the database of players etc for the options you have selected will 'saved' within the same game file. Just copy across the save game with a memory stick

The only potential problem you mave if is you have a monster PC at home and have started with multiple leagues and large database then the processing may be fine on the PC but appear painfully slow on the laptop if its a significantly lower spec. I hope this makes sense.

You'll also need to have the FM08 disk in the machine you are playing on else do what I do and buy a second copy (cheap as chips for the time you'll use it) and keep it in the drive of both

Hope this helps

I think you just need the save game and the patch.

It just uses the atabas when creating a new game.

Yeah, my laptop is pretty good, so I don't anticipate too many problems. I have two game disks already, so I'm covered there...only thing is, I've edited the 802 DB a bit, so it won't be "Stock" for lack of a better term.

Will I need my edited 802 DB then?
