I've played a fair bit now with the new patch and everything is fine. To be honest some of the complaints Ive seen recently are unbelieveably picky! The only problem i have is the confidence could be picked.

And before anyone mentions the Defoe thing, it takes about 2 seconds to fix it, everyone makes errors!

On the turkish league problem, it dosen't effect me but I would be annoyed if it I used the turkish league.

The shot/goal: I have read about 200 different messages about the shots to goals ration etc etc. People were complaining they didin't score enough goals but now its the opposite theres too many. I haven't noticed it one bit, I'm in League 2 and the results are pretty much the same.

Anyway I think its a great game, I liked it from the start except for a few problems but I think some people need to chill with their complaints!

Agree with that analysis and here is a screenshot to show low scores rather than the high ones peeps are talking about.

I also agree...I think what it comes down to is this:

There are people who play this game realisticly aka no super tactics/ no super enhanced edited players.....and these users get realistic results...

But then there are the people(probably 16 yrs of age or below) who cheat by creating unrealistic tactics and unrealistic player abilities...these are the people who get the dumb scorelines...these are the people who get their jollies wining 11-0 for some reason

That being said, this game does have flaws but really, it is the best that is out there by a country mile.

The latest patch makes the game good to play now except the board expectation. The "minimum" expectation for cup competitions are too high and those require some luck to get through. Expecting the team to reach the final/win them every season is unrealistic. Also they whine for half a year if you get knocked out.
Just need to tune those down and based on the draw of your opponents and reduce the length of time they keep whining once they team lost.

The scores are a little high, I hardly see any 0-0 but that's fine with me, as for the sake of entertainment.

Whilst the confidence thing needs work, I haven't personally experienced too many problems with it. Whilst the board set the cup expectations a little high I can live with it - I know I'm not going to get the sack for getting knocked out of the league cup, however upset about it they say they are.

The league is the bread and butter, along with the long term expectations. Satisfy those and you'll be OK.

The game-breaker for me is one that I've just noticed on my Newcastle game. I've no idea if it affects any other clubs, or whether indeed it is something unique to me but I've noticed that my gate receipts are just £300,000 per home game. A ludicrous amount considering there's 50,000 plus packed into St. James' Park each home game, therefore my tickets are around £6 on average.

I've checked the database which says they should be a more sensible £35 each on average so I'm struggling to see where this problem is coming from.

Hmm I didn't think of that actually. I believe we sold all 41,000 season tickets (I can't remember the exact number, just that all were sold). I suppose this would explain it then. Thanks!

Hmm, have you expanded your stadium at all? I'll try and get a screenshot of mine because I'm only getting around 10% of what you're getting for gate receipts.
