I haven't seen a thread for this yet, so thought I'd start one to see how people are fixing it.
I've done a lot of reading and searches on the forums today, and have seen numerous references to there being a problem with Diarra (similar to Defoe's) but have been unable to spot a workaround for this.
So, please help those who are wondering, if you know how to do it.

If you want to keep the clauses but want Arsenal to get the funds then do this.
Open the Editor, this will be in your game root directory.

Do this for all Diarra's clauses.
While you're in there fix Jermain Defoe as well.
Scroll down to his name.
Where it has 1000000 look to the right to where it says "per league appearance" left click this button and change it to "after league appearance"
Save the database (call it something you'll remember) and when you start a new game select that database.

By the way, this financial bug that affects the Turkish leagues (Fenerbahce and Galatasaray is it?), is that something that can be fixed in the data editor or is it hard-coded?
