You could bump things up for the short term thorugh the editor\finances options to put up ticket prices and their balance but in the long term there might still be a problem.

uh, im my db, when i attempted to edit the type of appearance for defoe (as steve directed), everyone's clause includes AFTER INTERNATIONAL APPEARANCES. defoe, diarra, everyone. i checked some other premier league teams and all of appearance money clauses are set to after international appearances. surely, this isnt correct. is it some weird editor bug?

for me defoe was set to every game so i dont think its all 'after internation apearances'. i managed to change his to after amount of games as well.

ya i had the same issue....but for defoe it was set to after 50 goals spurs get 1 mil...ijust changed it to after 50 appareances...i assume this is right?

Save the database (call it something you'll remember) and when you start a new game select that database.

phew thanks Steve. Your more detailed help was brilliant as I got stuck following Miles' sticky at the top of the forum. Please can you move these instruction there to help other non 'IT geeks' change the Diarra and Defoe issue. At last there are some instructions for the 'less technical'. Thanks again Steve. IsIs there any difference in the Mac version? I just downloaded it last night and checked this out, Defoe's clause was "After League Goals" though I still changed it to "After League Appearances", the Diarra thing was the same as described.

The problem with Defoe is that Tottenham would receive £1m 'per league appearance', upto 50. It needs changing to 'after league appearances'
