I tend to go with determination, on top of the obvious qualities the players should have. I play as Bayern Munich and the entire team is determined, with high work rate etc, any player who doesn't have a high rating in these attributes never fit in so i've stopped buying them.

I've always liked good finishing and long shots. Flair is another attribute I like. You can have a player who is an absolute slug moving around the pitch... but if he picks the ball up outside of the penalty area and can hit it like a rocket, I'm happy!

I never look for one in particular, but due to my style of playing, Stamina is vital.

If I find a striker with a high 'Off The Ball' rating, I hit the roof.
Then I buy him.
So many times I had strikers who did well for me with good Off The Ball stats.

One of my mates likes players with high Long Throws, but he's a bit strange.

Myself, i go for decisions, because i hate the consistant acts of stupidity that follow players with a low decisions stat.

Stanima just because I hate starting players at less than 100%. Maybe natural fitness would a better stat to look at for that actully. Strength in centre-backs, they are pretty much useless without it.

i always go for the best player avalible, but usually go for a determind player. I like building determined sides.

I'm quite strict on 'concentration' when it comes to selecting defenders. Too many times I've been burned by a seemingly gifted CB with low concentration. No more!

I like it when players have high flair, technique and dribbling.
Not for defenders though.
But i do have to admit having a few players with high team work and work rate can be pretty important for a team.
