I read in another thread that some people have had a problem getting a job under 8.02.

Is this a problem for everyone or is it an isolated incident? I want to download the 8.02 patch, but keep playing my saved game. I'm not gonna do that if I won't be able to change jobs.

I hope you´re still able to change jobs,otherwise its pointless to play a long term career game,in my opinion

I've player 7 seasons with Bayern (started the game in 8.01 - last two seasons in 8.02)...at the end of the season I got bored, Liverpool manager got sacked, I applied and got the job, so no problems for me...

ive been offered 3 jobs in the first season, and im in charge of Crewe.

Had offers from Newcastle, Reading and Charlton. So no problem there.

The problem is when you start as unemployed as I do normally. With reputation of Sunday League Footballer or Automatic you simply have no chance. I don't know if this changes through a game though. It seems now that you either have to pick a team at the start or choose a higher reputation. To be honest, I'm not happy with that.

I'm agree with L.Anawak, i'm not happy with that to, because your reputation is different if you choose internationnal footballer, and i prefer start as a beginner, it's more difficult but more interesting.

This isn't the case. I started a game unemployed and got job offers from Sweden and Northern Ireland in the first week. However, I didn't holiday. I applied only for the jobs I wanted/thought I'd have a chance of getting.
