1. how can I win a penalty shoot out? ive had two this season. The first was vs Arsenal and both teams missed the first 8 pens!!?? Most my players have between 12-15 pen stat. anyone else had stupid pen shootouts?
2. I slightly more serious question, Is there a way to keep a player who is intent on leaving? Various other players in the team want me to keep his services. but the player has been unhappy now since I rejected an enquiry for him at the beginning of the season. Any player interaction that will help?
1. Strategic placement of takers. Sometimes your best penalty taker should be 4th or 5th when the pressure is on. There's a lot more tactics to penalty shoot outs than simply picking your best pen takers in a row. Mental attributes are essential in these cases.
You still might lose though, that's just how pens go.
2. Win things, throw money at him or bring in a player he's friendly with and hope he wants to stay. Just keep playing him and it should blow over in this case.
