I've seen loads of guides in here about putting your own pictures in and i've followed them exactly and still my pictures don't work. I'm using Photoshop 5.5 to create 95x95 images, making it 99% opacity and saving as png file etc., but the images stay as 24-bit when i know they need to be 32-bit to work properly. I can do this at work on Photoshop 6 but it doesn't work on mine at home, why? i know a lot about computers and that if the pictures are 8-bits per channel you'd need 4 channels to make them 32-bit, but as the pictures are RGB there's only 3 channels. There are plenty of guides around tellin people what to do but none which help with this matter. Do you need to create a new channel or something? Can anyone help?

Putting your own pictures in the game - 32-bit? Post #2
I've tried regular JPEGS before and they were poor quality, i think you really need 32-bit PNGs to get high quality pics in the game. By the way just an update i still don't know how to sort the problem above, though i've got a copy of photoshop 7 now so it works fine! from my experience if you want to be able to make proper 32-bit pics you need at least photoshop version 6.
