Ok, to go straight to the point, I'm not the only one who is suffering this problem, a few of my friends are as well.
So, basically, I was trying to load the Siple Ultimate skin onto FM, but everytime it did, it crashed and asked me to close it. It happens with every skin I've tried to use although I am on Flex 1.2 (which I changed on 8.0.1). Is this a bug which happens with 8.0.2? However, I've seen some people request, so unless they don't have 8.0.2, I'm not totally sure skins work with the new version of FM.
Well, this is the problem with the game being based on patches coming out, and having just the one skin which most people do not like.
Add-ons like skins (SI should really consider adding several skins as options, how much trouble is that for them?), etc, need to be upgraded in most cases for them to work with newer versions. It's all a bit messy at the moment.
Several skin options, types of match ball choice, and player icons for those who do not like the circles, should already come with the game. Well, would be very nice anyway.
I'm using the new siple skin with version 8.0.2 and haven't had any issues.
This doesn't help with your problem but it does show that they are compatible.
