I don't know what persegers is and I've no idea why you've posted that second post OR posted two bloody threads.

Open the editor, load in your game, edit the stats, save the database, exit, load FM, make new game, play.

i tryed wot u said but it came up

Hmm... Ok. Go to the folder you installled FM to. Go to the Data/db directory, find the file called client_db.dat and remove it's read-only status.

It could also be read only if it's already open/been opened before and the editor crashed whilst it was open.

i have removed the checked box saying read only but it is still saying it is read only

Then you should replace the backup db which you shouls have made before you began editing.
