I tried using the editor to change the stadium capacity and when I started a new game, the changes weren't there!?

All I did was open the editor, select the club, select stadium and overwrite the figures in the attendance bit and then save it.

Any idea what I've done wrong please?

you have only edited how many people come to the stadium. you need 2 click stadium which is not in the club section and change the capacity of the stadium ******
