I just reinstalled, and changed db. I think that worked.

Does it work without reinstalling the db? I hate to lose my months of hard work.

This bizarre problem where edt files get loaded even when you don't want them also happened in CM4 and CM03/04. The problem then was that if you had an edt file selected, and then ran the editor, then edt file somehow got loaded 'into' the editor, retaining those players in all future games. IIRC, disabling the edt files (preferably by moving them out of the install folder) before using the editor prevented this problem.

The ddt section is listed at the bottomo of the "preferences" screen upon starting up Fm.
