I just need to know, how do I delete all people data from database. Just people data.

I'm quite sure that all people data must be destroyed from database so I can try what I like to.

What I have tried: Rename people_db to something else and start editor and save database. Does not work. Just empty people_db, that doesn't work either, editor crashes. I also tried to manually delete some data from people_db. No luck because editor crashes. And so on.

There is simple way to do this: use Pre Game editor and remove all people data. But there are about 250 000 people so this is quite a job.

If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it.

I think that there must be at least one person in database. But it is easy to edit, if I just can get rid of all player data.

You would likely cause a db corruption yes. How would the db be easy to edit if there was nobody in there to edit???

I would recommend setting up a macro to do the job. Macromaker (do a Google for it) is an excellent tool for it.

There is no other easy way (of which I am aware) of removing all data from the FM db's otherwise.

Oh yeah, this didn't work. My purpose was to make entirely random players to game. Deleting players didn't work because game does not generate new players to squad if there are not any players on that squad in database.

It creates too many players, who are just renamed real players. Last time I Tried, Raal MAarid has Brasilian D/DM L with Long Shots 20 and so on. Just renamed Roberto Carlos. There was also renamed Walter Samuel and renamed Zidane and...

Other teams had also many players who were just renamed and / or nationality was changed.

That is not very nice. I would like to play with all players random. Same problem has been around since CM 01/02.

got to agree with him, the most obvious is to look at man utd's manager, always a scottish guy who like aberdeen & man utd, hmmmm, i wonder who that is, but with a different name!

So like goal is to do a database where in people data base all attribute values are 0.
