I've searched the forum and found no thread such as this, incidently, so bear with me please.
As Napredak in the Serbian 2nd division I edited the game (using the editor, not text editing files) to give them a sugar daddy. However thus far the only effect of this has been a 26 million opening bank balance. Now, in the 2nd season, that's down to 15million and my transfer and salary budgets have both been dramatically slashed.
So I'm wondering if occasionally the 'sugar daddy' takes a while to kick in? Will the chairman be reluctant to issue more funds if the managers reputation is low? As of yet I've recieved no extra funds, and my board request for more was, as usual, rejected.
Any help?
Cheers

Ive never had Abramovich give me any additional money, apart from the occasional transferbudger increase at the first of certain months, but this happens with all team.

Yet another Sugar Daddy question I'm afraid Post #8
Generally in my experience of the game, without using the editor to have a sugar daddy, this is the general format:
Having a sugar daddy will generally result in your board "allowing you" to break your transfer budget to bring in a player of "real quality" - i.e. maybe only having 12 million with Newcastle, and splashing 20 million on a player with a very high reputation, like a Nedved (by this I mean in terms of editor reputation).
Alternatively, for those of you wishing to try and give a smaller team a sugar daddy, use the 'cash injection' feature as well, or instead, as the two generally go hand in hand. You have to remember that you can't really extend your transfer budget without having more money in the general club account (otherwise you'll be in the red), and therefore by using the cash injection option, you're freeing up more club money for transfer use (that's generally where the percentage of income available to spend idea comes in).
Hope that helps (I'm sure it's quite confusing too!)
