looking at the differences between a CM4 cmp file and what you posted above, you have added the time the game needs to be played

maybe this is something FM would do itself
select games for TV, for in the evening, for sundays,...

another difference is the matchday number

anyone else with ideas how to get a cmp file working ?

i think i remember that it was only EP2(?) that enabled it in CM03/04, it wasn't in the original game.
Maybe it's been overlooked - perhaps Mr Duffy could email somebody the exact instructions to get it working

One thing I have noticed is that the game schedules matches on these 3 dates:

According to the Premier League there are no matches on the above dates, but there are matches on these dates:

13/11/2004
22/01/2005

ah, maybe the custom dates have to be spot on then with the game - they're not quite identical to RL.

I doubt it, thats the idea of "Real Fixtures" after all, and the game isn't even recognising the files by the looks of things.

I have created a file with the 3 dates that the game uses, but still no luck.

According to the manual (on P.8) it says that "Should real-life fixture lists be available in one of your selected leages for the 2004/05 season, you can chose to play this schedule by ticking the Real Fixtures box".

There is a screen shot of this on p.7.

I have so far not managed to get this tick box to come up.
