Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default You've seen it all before....

I have searched and failed to find what I am looking for so please don't shout at me or make me feel more silly then I already do.

I've just picked up the new copy of FM07 on Friday and started playing as Newcastle. No money to spend but with the new summer signings I was hopefully the team was good enough.

I'm playing 4-4-2 with a balanced ( and on paper pretty good looking midfield)

MR- Dyer/Solano
MC- Scott Parker
MC- Emre
ML- Duff

Both Emer & Parker using fairly defensive tactics to try and win midfield battles,( Emre using slighty more attacking option).

Up is not a problem as my goals have been flying in.

FC- Sibierski (Targer man) 10 gls 10 assits
FC- Martins (Speedy - although not that speedy but still love him) 11 gls 4 assits

I did have Rossi who was my top goal scorer 19 goals in 19 matches. but he decided to not renew his loan contract and returned to Man Utd.

The MAIN PROBLEM!!! DEFENSE!

DR- Carr ( always liked him as a player)
DC- Steven Taylor ( LOVE HIM next TONY ADAMS)
DC- Craig Moore 9 ( Aussie, 'nuff said)
DL- Bernard ( Useful DL)

I am conceding goals left right and centre. Need help.

I am £6m in debt. Man Utd offered me £16m for Owen, but obviously he failed a medical.

Maybe I need a new tactic, new players, new job??

Newcastle is surely not a lost cause.

HELP!!

Sibierski 10 goals and 10 assists??????

Now there's a bug if there ever was one. One of the least skillful players ever called "professional footballer" I've seen in my entire life IRL.

Really???

Well I watched him week in week out for three seasons for City and I can tell you he is absolutely useless.

Most City fans were wetting their pants when pundits always labelled him as "one of the best headers of the ball". I'm not sure whether I saw him put more than three headers in target in all his time for season. Complete and utter crap.
