Really have to say KUTGW
| O i get you, sorry i must have been out of it there lol. Striker testing will involves two strikers mainly, things like one having more creativity free roles etc etc. But after what you said even if you didnt mean an actual playmaker i will still test it for you Synax

Yes, you often see it in different tactics, there is a target man with strength, jumping, heading(...) pared up with a pacy, creative striker. The target man will have a higher mentality, hold up ball etc..The creative one, example a free role, like you said. Do you think it would work better for your tactics, and which style of strikers do you recommend for the strikers, one with more strength and a pacy one??

Sam - Gonna give this a go quickly with Liverpool, and as i have two big Target-Men in Llorente and Crouch i was wondering if i should change one of the ST's to suit his style of play ie. direct passing, hold up ball.
If i put this on one of the ST's, and played him alongside my clinical one (Djibril Cisse) do you think it'd work positively?

| Like you said strength and jumping are the ideal for the target man and along with a pacy creative striker alot of stuff can happen and you said the main attributes yourself. Ive noticed that if one striker has a lower mentality and abit more pace and creativity, paired up with a higher mentality target man with less creative freedom seems to have a nice effect and a strong 1-2 pass leading to a goal is fairly common.
My next tactic if i consider releasing it when its complete will have all this taken in mind, i really am testing this alot at the moment and intend on making it the perfect tactic.

| If you wont to play one dropped back slighty change:
Direct Passing
Hold Up Ball
Through Balls Often
Forward Runs Mixed
This will cause a sort of Rooney effect of dropping back and recieving the ball to play it on. If you intend on using Cisse, i would consider making Coruch or Llorente target men that are the drop back strikers passing on to a paccyer Cisse.

Wow! I am gobsmacked!
Just downloaded these tactics (the first tactics I have downloaded, may I add), and I am impressed!
It wasn't the ideal time to start using them, half way through a season, and I suffered a 3-2 defeat to Chelsea at first, followed by a 2-2 draw at Aston Villa and a no score draw at Birmingham.
But then, it seems, my team warmed to these tactics and adapted beautifully. My passing is much more fluid and accurate, I concede much less goals, my defence and keeper are more disciplined, and my finishing is nothing short of sublime!
I have annihilated the likes of Liverpool and Man Utd since, and now lie one point behind pole position in the Premiership. If I had only discovered this tactic earlier, I dare say I would have taken home every trophy available to me, and I am noe gutted that I won't be retaining the FA Cup.
Woe betide any weaker team such as West Brom, West Ham, Ipswich, Watford, Charlton... (I could go on), all of whom I have absolutely slaughtered by a MINIMUM of 3 goals.
Also, my players seem to be tiring less, and this effect is improving with time, too. Only the defensive-minded midfielder (Sebastian Larsson) ever leaves the field with less than a 70% condition.
My only criticism would be that my players seem to be picking up more yellow cards, although this is an issue I am more than happy to deal with compared with the outsanding performance lately.
Thankyou very much Synax2!!!

| Thankyou for the feedback im glad you like it very much, tiring it will wear off in time as there training and fitness from games starts to rise, yeah your team do need to adapt thats why i always recommend the start of the season they are used. Other then that im happy you liked it and the next version if i decide to release it will walk all over this Synax

Right Synax my good man, what a fantastic base of tactics you have here, people who claim for them to be **** are actually talking the stuff, it's all about how to use them, when to use them and why to use them.
I've added tweaks in here and there and these will only suit my team, therefore evryone trying it should tweak it for their needs/uses, well when using this tactic i rememberd when using one of my own tactics i could only ever beat most teams lower than the top 4 convicingly if i used an away based tactic, so i thought hey why not try this with Synax's, so apart from Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle whether home or away ive used the away tactic and voila, i've won the treble.
What is very important with these tactics is whne to use them, for example i took a massive risk in the Champions League by starting with High Attack in the Nou Camp going for the away goal. I was Destroyed. Overall Synax these are very very impressive and anyone using them Must try and make it suit their team.
Cheers, Deano |
