Well with every new version of CM/FM that came out, I always played a quick 3 seasons as a top team just to get used to the changes.
This time I choose Chelsea and I am playing Varation 1 as my away tactic, my home version is to move the DMC in the MC postion then move one of my MCs into an AMC postion.
Both tactics work wonders (which you would expect with such a good team) though I can easily win games 3-0, 4-0 and I just beat Notts Forest with my home tactic 7-0 in the FA Cup.

I`m new here, and a big fan 0f 4-3-3. Just got FM2007 and trying my old FM2006 4-3-3 tactic in the new game. It`s has the same positions as Variation 2, with some personal tweaks in the team and player settings. I had tremendous success with the formation in the 2006 game. 5 years with FC Köln gave me 5 league wins, 4 cup titles and 3 championsleague titles. Not sure if it is equally effective in the new game, but thought i`d share it with you guys and maybe get some feedback...

No arrows anywhere. </BLOCKQUOTE>
What team instructions you using?
and any player instructions?
To anyone downloading the tactic: its for analysis only. Of course you are completely free to use it, just dont go crying if it doesnt work for you. If it doesnt, then get better players.
Having said that, the centre striker is set up to be a big target men that is good at heading. You can turn on the target men option and compare results without it ticked, just make sure in both cases your target men is still added to the target men list!.
I havent actually tried turning on the target men option, it works without it as well, though with it enabled, the team will probably play it to him asap. If you are gonna experiment, tell me the results

If you dont have a big target men, then disable that option (as in, set distribution from head to mixed) and I would copy the instructions of the outer two strikers to the one in the centre and just play any striker you do have there.

Well ladies and gentlemen here you go, this is the first version of my so far very sucsessfull 4-3-3 tactic that has taken me to top of League One and into the final of the Johnstone Paints Trophy.
Just remember that this tactic was built for my Brighton team so small changes might be needed or new player brought to incorperate the team and player instructions.
Here are my final team instructions and a picture of the chosen setup of the 3 i displayed at the begining of the thread.
Hi there, I'm also a big 4-3-3 fan and I play the same way as FMtacticus, that is a flat back four, two MC's, farrowed wingers and an AMC at home or a DMC away. I play with Feyenoord, which I'm sad to say is a pretty mediocre team at the moment. Winning a lot and currently first in the PD, so that's pretty good I guess
The only problem is I don't score a lot of goals (don't concede much either for that matter) while I think my strategy is pretty attacking, even in the away matches. Anyone else having that problem?
