Ok....i play this game for a long time now...and i tried almost every possible tactic......
And I found THE ONE!!!
My team is Galatasaray, but this tactic work great with Man Utd, Arsenal, almost every 4-4-2/4-3-1-2 playing team.
First thing,
Mentality: Dont be scared to play Attacking!!! Thats the first thing you need to know...but, in order to play like this , you HAVE TO buy or posses a good DR-DL and MC. DR-DL(they have to be fast and good throw in takers..) are the most important things if you play attacking. Always keep them back...i know its sounds silly, but when you taking free kick, corner, KEEP THEM BACK......only use them for Throw ins...i scored like 15+ goals in a season and they all started with a throw in.
Creative Freedom: Depends on what type of players you got....so, when i play with Gala i pick Normal creative freedom...
Passing Style and Tempo: I hear some bullshit about how "Short passing and quick tempo" doesnt work....**** THAT!..I am a Living example. Keep your passing short and your tempo quick. The only thing you should do is make your ML-MR-DC(only one) play long passes. And let everybody else play short...and ofcourse, with this tactic you need to put your width to WIDE....not max but almost...becuse you will score like 25 goals from crosses...who ever is in the box...doesnt metter...But what should you when the weather is bad? Then you can put direct passing and quick tempo....BUT DONT EVER PLAY SHORT PASS ON A RAINY DAY.. that is not a good choice....
Closing down: Depends on a match and the team you choose...
Time wasting: Rarely.
Tackling and Defansive Line: Well , this depends...but i reccomend to put Defansive line: Push up and tackling: Normal....
ALWAYS put counter attack and tight marking...ESSPECIALY counter-attack....i won 10+ games and they all had a counter attack goal...its sooo funny, whenever i am in a bad situation, arround 75th minute, counter-attack saves me...
Ok...
Now Corners: Penalty Area...and put you best header there....put your wings BACK(unless they are taking the corner)....I garuantee you will score at least 15 goals...!
Same goes for free-kick....
Throw Ins...LONG LONG LONG...and use DR-DL's....
Oh yea....when playing 4-4-2....or 4-3-1-2 put your wingers arrows up to the corner...they have to run like crazy....make them run and make them play long.......
Dont use playmaker unless its Ronaldinho
No need for target man...
Never use offside trap.....that kind of **** kills you....!!!..
Thats about it.....well thats what is on my mind now....maybe later ill add some more..
