Goal kick, my fullbacks refuse to go forward while my centre backs run like hell. AI forwards lurk just between the 2 lines. No matter how far my goal kick lands, the AI challenges and heads the ball straight into the path of the 2 lurking forwards. A clean path to my goal is ensured, and my 2 stupid fullbacks play them onside.

In this particular game, it happens twice, one after the other, the second resulting in a goal. The kicker is I have all of my defenders on the same excat setting. Mentality is 5 and D-Line is 5 Tight Marking Yes Closing Down 5.

Have you ever thought of a) getting your keeper to kick to a specific target...preferably on the flanks?

or B) ask your overexcited CDs to collect ball and then distribute it.

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.
