Playin my 1st season as spurs, last week in January, Lyon asked what i want for him, i put £7million and they accept it,so shall i sell him and who do i replace him with?

Ive got van dan borre (or whatever his name is) and ive played him a few times there.

Also got stalteri (Who i want to sell but nobody wants) as backup.

Tempted to rotate those 2 until the end of the season then get somebody in. Maybe Micah Richards but i hear he's best at DM than DR. what do you reckon?

I know, thats why im thinking of leaving it till the end of the season and make an offer then. but his he better at DR and DC, ifso i might leave it and look for a quality DR.

Zaccardo. Quality and becomes way better than Chimbonda. Ratinho is available for less than 7 mill as well.

zaccardo, ratinho, manuel ruz and ilsinho are all better than chimbonda and are easily within your budget

Ilsinho and Ratinho are both quality imports and you should be able to get them for less than 7mil easily

7m won't get you Alves (sadly) but will get you Zaccardo, who is hands down the best RB on the game alongside Alves. If you plan on being a Champions league contender, avoid South Americans.

I've been trying to replace Chimbonda for 5 seasons with Ratinho/Borre but as hardly ever out of team of week and seldom injured the others are still waiting. I ended up not using Ifil but looks a good backup.

Need to lower price to sell any of the backup players.
