...why it is that my transfer bids often get rejected when rival teams lesser offers get accepted?

I've wondered whether add-ons - additional payments, % of future sales etc - were not shown in the inital offer, but I've made some pretty hefty additional offers to test this out and I still get knocked back.

Am I getting paranoid or does this game have it in for me?!

Is your deadline set to the next day etc? This can sometimes "annoy" teams.

It could also be that the managers of the teams involved like each other and so will accept a lower bid.

Never had it myself though, so can't really help.

happened a few times to me. i hate signing corluka from dinamo, even though he is a god, i offer him £60,000 a week, and he signs for barca for £5,500. does my head in, when i'm playing as liverpool.

although it may kill you lol praising other their current managers helps...with Corluka however,you say your Liverpool,ive signed him with smaller clubs than that.give him a minimum fee release of about 25 million,high bonuses,an extremley high goal bonus...this always works,plus hes a defender so it wont cost you too much,his weeks wages cost me iirc around 35k...remember,signing on fee of £0 always works :thup: hope this helps
